Admissions process

Admissions will be made based on family values, the student’s academic and disciplinary record, a previous virtual interview, and space availability for the level.
What is the admissions process?
Become part of the Hartford International School (HIS) family
- Send the Registration Form to the email (admissions@hartforninternationalschool.edu.co). Download the form here.
- Family interview: Upon receipt of the completed and signed Registration Form, our directives will send you the interview date with general and welfare coordination.
- Assessment of the applicant.
- Once the family completes the admissions process, they will be informed of the admissions committee’s decision.
- Admitted families will send the following documents to the email admissions@hartforninternationalschool.edu.co, writing in Ref the student’s full name.
- Legalize enrollment in the administrative office of the institution.
Required documentation
NEW STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
- The family interview is carried out with the coordinator of the department of wellness and psychology.
- Student psychological interview.
- Academic admission test for Math, Literacy-English. (Virtual)
- Academic report of the last academic year.
- Two letters of personal recommendation signed by families linked to HIS or Living Explorer.
- Certificate of the behavior of the last academic year.
- Withdrawal from SIMAT.
- Disciplinary reports from the previous year.
- Civil registration or ID.
- Four (4) updated ID-size photos. (virtual).
- Photocopy of the Vaccination Card.
- Photocopy of the certificate to the Social Security System – EPS, prepaid, or health policy.
- Civil registration or ID.
- Peace and save of the year 2020.
- Audiometry and optometry medical certificates.
- Proof of enrollment and institutional documents.
GRADUATE REQUIREMENTS – LIVING EXPLORER
- Civil registration or ID
- Four (4) updated ID-size photos. (virtual).
- Photocopy of the Vaccination Card.
- Photocopy of the certificate to the Social Security System – EPS, prepaid, or health policy.
- Civil registration or ID.
- Peace and save of the year 2020.
- Audiometry and optometry medical certificates.
- Proof of enrollment and institutional documents.
